Gather at Deshkan Ziibi/Thames River for three days of indoor and outdoor talks, walks, activations, and art focused on river ecology, hydrology, culture, history, conservation, and gender and social justice.

River Talks will feature Indigenous leaders and water protectors, water managers, conservationists, environmentalists, activists, artists, and academics.  The many “streams” of River Talks will flow together as people from across our watershed and beyond share stories about their work to re-imagine, renew, restore and respect our water-ways.  The objectives of the gathering are: (1) to educate citizens about the river and environment, (2) encourage water activism and protection, and (3) restore relationships with the land & people working on water issues.
